The author

Spencer Tarring

Entrepreneur, builder and author of The Dominus Code. His work spans technology, music, physical training and the choices behind an independent life.

Experience before doctrine.

Spencer co-founded Dedipower at eighteen, building a data infrastructure business before a multi-million-pound exit. A decade in Shanghai’s nightlife followed, including his role as Music Director of M1NT.

He quit alcohol on 31 December 2020. Physical training, self-command and taking responsibility for his choices are central to his life and to The Dominus Code.

The story in full.

DEDIPOWER

Spencer's education didn't happen in a university lecture hall. It began at eighteen, in a small room above a tyre shop in Reading. As the co-founder of Dedipower, he didn't follow a syllabus; he built a data infrastructure company from the ground up using 16-hour days and unrelenting drive. He took a business born in grit and scaled it into a corporate powerhouse, achieving a multi-million pound exit that secured his financial freedom before most men had started their careers.

SHANGHAI

Spencer spent a decade in Shanghai’s nightlife. As the Music Director of M1NT, he became the face of the city's excess—driving a Rolls Royce Ghost, commanding crowds of thousands as a DJ, and living the life every young man thinks he wants: women, adrenaline, and applause. That experience informs his views on pleasure, ambition and the discipline needed to direct your own life.

SELF-COMMAND

Spencer quit alcohol on 31 December 2020. Training, sobriety and deliberate choices are part of how he practises self-command. For him, independence carries practical demands: build physical strength, govern your attention, keep your word and take responsibility for the consequences of your decisions.

THE ARCHITECT

Today, Spencer operates as a Realist in a world of soft delusions. He is no longer just an investor; he is an Architect of critical systems. The Business: He builds high-stakes Bitcoin and AI infrastructure across emerging markets, backed by private equity and hard assets. He understands that in the digital age, you are either the server or the serf. The Household: He lives openly in a non-monogamous household. That is his chosen structure, not a requirement for readers of the Code. He judges it by the responsibility, trust and continuity it creates. The Philosophy: He identifies as a Sovereign Individual—a man who moves his mind, capital, and loyalty to where they are treated best, rejecting the dying model of the nation-state.

What I stand for.

Self-autonomy & strength

Govern your own life. You must work out, build physical strength and develop the competence to act independently. Discipline is something you practise.

Sovereignty

Think for yourself. Build options in where you live, how you work and what you create. Accept responsibility for those choices.

Consequence

Judge ideas and institutions by what they produce. Question inherited assumptions, including the ones that flatter your own preferences.

Family & continuity

Build for the generation after you. My own household is non-monogamous; readers do not need to copy its structure to share the objective.

Enterprise & civilisation

Create productive systems. Preserve knowledge, prepare successors and strengthen what another generation will inherit.
